November 21, 2023: Garden Grove, CA 92840 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA) and the visiting Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), saw Garden Grove's basketball squad hold off Bolsa Grande by a tally of 43-39.
With the victory, Garden Grove improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Argonauts host Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 27. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Sunny Hills won 65-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Ayala (Chino Hills, CA)
Next up, the Matadors play the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 22. Bolsa Grande will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Vanguards come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 65-29 non-league loss to Schurr (Montebello, CA).
