Louisiana High School Basketball - Buckeye tops Byrd
November 21, 2023: Shreveport, LA 71104 Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA), 48-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Buckeye upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host False River (New Roads, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 0-3. False River lost 70-44 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Logansport Tigers (Logansport, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
