November 21, 2023: Geneva, OH 44041 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the SPIRE Institute SPIRE (Geneva, OH) and the visiting Empowering Others Prep Kings (Cypress, TX), saw SPIRE Institute's basketball squad hold off Empowering Others Prep by a tally of 66-64.
With the victory, SPIRE Institute improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The SPIRE travel to Hiland (Berlin, OH) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Kings confront the Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 22. Empowering Others Prep will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 65-64 non-league win over Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA).
