November 21, 2023: Anniston, AL 36207 The Weaver Bearcats basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the host Faith Christian Lions to 69 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greene County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 22. Weaver will battle a Tigers team coming off a 42-36 non-league loss to Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
The Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Cleburne County prevailed over Weaver (Weaver, AL), 44-43, in a non-league contest.
