Louisiana High School Basketball - Holy Savior Menard ripped by Ferriday
November 21, 2023: Alexandria, LA 71303 The Ferriday Trojans basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Holy Savior Menard Eagles to 40 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a 2A District 2 contest on Friday, November 24. Ferriday will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 68-38 non-league win over Bastrop (Bastrop, LA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-1.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Pitkin was routed by Negreet (Negreet, LA), 85-55, in a non-league contest.
