Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) and the host Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ), saw Valley Vista's basketball squad hold off Highland Prep by a tally of 61-60.

With the victory, Valley Vista improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Monsoon travel to Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 22. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Paradise Honors won 70-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ)

Next up, the Honey Badgers confront the Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 25. Highland Prep will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
