With the victory, Montebello upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to El Monte (El Monte, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, November 24. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 0-4. El Monte lost 54-25 in their recent non-league bout against Contreras (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 22. La Puente will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 71-60 non-league loss to Hoover (Glendale, CA).
