Arkansas High School Basketball - Westside knocked off by Mulberry
November 21, 2023: Coal Hill, AR 72832 The Mulberry Yellowjackets basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Westside Rebels to 45 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul for a 1A Region 1 West contest on Tuesday, November 28. Mulberry will battle a Saints team coming off a 59-58 non-league win over Two Rivers (Ola, AR). The Saints record now stands at 6-2.
The Rebels (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Acorn (Mena, AR). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Acorn ran past Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR), 64-48, in a non-league contest.
