Alabama High School Basketball - Opelika can't hold off Grissom
November 21, 2023: Opelika, AL 36801 The Grissom Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Opelika Bulldogs to 45 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Booker T. Washington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 22. Grissom will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 47-32 non-league win over Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Oxford was nudged by Auburn (Auburn, AL), 65-47, in a non-league contest.
