California High School Basketball - East Union holds off Ponderosa

November 21, 2023: Manteca, CA 95336

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) and the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), saw East Union's basketball squad hold off Ponderosa by a tally of 43-38.

With the victory, East Union improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Tracy (Tracy, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Bruins confront the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. Ponderosa will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 32-29 non-league win over Kennedy (Sacramento, CA).
