Alabama High School Basketball - John Carroll Catholic nips Oakwood Academy
November 21, 2023: Birmingham, AL 35219 John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Oakwood Academy Mustangs (Huntsville, AL), 52-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, John Carroll Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Ramsay (Birmingham, AL) to play the Rams in a bout on Saturday, December 16. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Tanner Rattlers (Tanner, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, November 27. Oakwood Academy will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
