In Thursday's non-league contest, the host New Covenant Gryphons basketball team scored a big 60-38 win over the Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils.

The Gryphons (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Brunswick Academy smashed Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA), 59-45, in a non-league contest.
