The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA) and the host Foshay Wolverines (Los Angeles, CA), observed Port of Los Angeles's basketball team edge Foshay by a margin of 78-72.

The Polar Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Mary Star of the Sea edged Paramount (Paramount, CA), 42-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Compton Tarbabes (Compton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 22. Foshay will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Tarbabes come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 90-80 non-league loss to Ambassador (Torrance, CA).
