The St. Joseph Catholic Bruins basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Hillcrest Christian Cougars to 23 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bruins now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage Academy for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. St. Joseph Catholic will confront a Patriots team coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Hillcrest Christian falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Bears go into the game with a record of 5-3.
