In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Lake Norman Christian Lions basketball team scored a big 82-33 win over the Lake Pointe Academy Mariners.

The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Winston Salem Christian National (Winston-Salem, NC). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Winston Salem Christian National smashed Davidson Day (Davidson, NC), 76-68, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mariners battle the Richard Winn Academy Eagles (Winnsboro, SC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 2. Lake Pointe Academy will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
