In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Pieper Warriors basketball team scored a big 73-42 triumph over the Marshall Rams.

The Warriors (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Steele smashed SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX), 66-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rams confront the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 23. Marshall will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Rough Riders go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 68-63 non-league win over Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX).
