In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting New Designs University Park Cardinals basketball team scored a big 59-29 triumph over the Smidt Tech Grey Wolves.

The Cardinals (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against New Designs Watts (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, New Designs Watts was trounced by Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), 81-17, in a non-league contest.
