November 21, 2024: Pontotoc, MS 38863 The Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) basketball were winner over the visiting South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), 69-58 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Harrison for a non-league bout on Monday, November 25. Pontotoc will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 69-40 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, MS). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, South Panola falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 23. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Holly Springs lost 43-42 in their recent non-league bout against Byers (Holly Springs, MS)
