Texas High School Basketball - Tahoka can't hold off Sands
November 21, 2024: Tahoka, TX 79373 Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Tahoka Bulldogs (Tahoka, TX), 42-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sands advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Sundown (Sundown, TX) to face the Roughnecks in a non-league match on Friday, November 22. The Roughnecks enter the match with a record of 3-2.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hale Center for a non-league match on Monday, November 25. Tahoka will face a Owls squad coming off a 53-44 non-league win over Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Owls record now stands at 4-2.
