Alabama High School Basketball - Shades Valley overwhelms St. Clair County
November 21, 2024: Birmingham, AL 35210 The Shades Valley Mounties basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting St. Clair County Fighting Saints to 29 in the Mounties non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mounties now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Paul W. Bryant for a non-league game on Saturday, November 23. Shades Valley will play a Stampede team coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL). The Stampede record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, St. Clair County falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Fighting saints travel to Leeds (Leeds, AL) to play the Greenwave in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Greenwave go into the game with a record of 4-1. Leeds won 48-25 in their recent non-league game against Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL)
