North Carolina High School Basketball - Carson holds off A.L. Brown
November 21, 2024: China Grove, NC 28023 The Carson Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders to 41 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Statesville for a non-league game on Monday, November 25. Carson will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 35-18 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, A.L. Brown falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wonders travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 0-1. South Rowan lost 48-35 in their recent non-league game against North Iredell (Olin, NC)
