Virginia High School Basketball - Meadowbrook overwhelms Hanover
November 21, 2024: Mechanicsville, VA 23116 The Meadowbrook Monarchs basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Hanover Hawks to 31 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Monarchs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Midlothian for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 26.
With the loss, Hanover falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA) to confront the Generals in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Generals go into the game with a record of 0-0.
