North Carolina High School Basketball - Independence defeats Porter Ridge
November 21, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28227 The Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 38-27 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. Independence will play a Wolverines team coming off a 31-27 non-league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Porter Ridge falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, November 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
