Louisiana High School Soccer - Morris Jeff toppled by Newman
November 21, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70115 Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Morris Jeff Pelicans (New Orleans, LA), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Newman advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Greenies host International (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a Division IV District 8 test on Monday, November 25. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-1. International won 7-2 in their recent league test against Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA)
The Pelicans now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fontainebleau for a non-league test on Friday, November 22. Morris Jeff will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
