The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX), observed West Oso's basketball team overcome Alice by a margin of 50-37.

The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Santa Gertrudis Academy was toppled by Pioneer (Mission, TX), 67-48, in a non-league game.

With the loss, Alice drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Long Creek (New Braunfels, TX) to confront the Dragons in a non-league outing on Monday, November 24.
