Texas High School Basketball - Manvel trounced by Anderson
November 21, 2025: Manvel, TX 77578 Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX), 61-39 in a non-league contest.
The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sherman (Sherman, TX). The Bearcats go into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Sherman was trounced by Prosper (Prosper, TX), 55-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mavericks face the Rock Hill Blue Hawks (Frisco, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, November 22. Manvel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Blue Hawks enter the outing with a 1-4 record after their 74-37 non-league loss to Emerson (McKinney, TX).
