In Friday's non-league test, the Waelder Wildcats (Waelder, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Buckholts Badgers (Buckholts, TX), by a score of 88-23.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Round Top-Carmine for a non-league bout on Monday, November 24. Waelder will play a Cubs team coming off a 72-54 non-league win over Tribe Warriors (Bastrop, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Buckholts falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Concordia (Round Rock, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
