Fans at Friday's non-league match between the Freedom Patriots (Tampa, FL) and the visiting Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL), witnessed Freedom's basketball squad hold off Wharton by a count of 67-64.

With the victory, Freedom advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Ridge Community (Davenport, FL) to face the Bolts in a non-league match on Friday, November 28. The Bolts enter the match with a record of 2-0.

The Wildcats now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Hillsborough for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 2. Wharton will battle a Terriers team coming off a 75-51 non-league loss to Tampa Bay Tech (Tampa, FL). The Terriers record now stands at 0-2.
