In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Parowan Rams basketball team scored a close 49-47 triumph over the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs.

The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Summit (Kamas, UT). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, South Summit nipped Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT), 72-69, in a non-league contest.
