Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC), 67-54 in a non-league contest.

The Catamounts (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Southern Wake Academy was toppled by Greenfield (Wilson, NC), 88-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights confront the South Garner Titans (Garner, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 22. Knightdale will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
