The Taft Raiders bounced the host Northwest Texans basketball squad by a final score of 75-34 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Raiders now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Mesquite for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 22. Taft will play a Stallions team coming off a 47-35 non-league loss to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Stallions record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Northwest moves to 0-6 on the season. The Texans host Abilene (Abilene, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, November 21.
