The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX) and the visiting Smithville Tigers (Smithville, TX), observed Taylor's basketball team overwhelm Smithville by a score of 89-33.

The Ducks (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Caldwell was routed by Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX), 77-34, in a non-league challenge.
