November 21, 2025: Austin, TX 78759 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) and the visiting McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX), observed Anderson's basketball team overwhelm McNeil by a score of 50-21.
The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Liberty Hill triumphed over Bowie (Austin, TX), 55-42, in a non-league game.
With the loss, McNeil falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Hutto (Hutto, TX) to clash with the Hippos in a 6A Region IV District 25 outing on Tuesday, November 25. The Hippos enter the outing with a record of 5-4.
