The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) and the host Winston Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC), witnessed Cannon's basketball squad hold off Winston Salem Christian by a count of 50-49.

With the victory, Cannon advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Cougars host Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Monday, November 24. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 3-0. Wesleyan Christian Academy won 60-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC)
