November 21, 2025: DuQuoin, IL 62832 Salem Wildcats (Salem, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host DuQuoin Indians (DuQuoin, IL), 47-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Salem advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL) to face the Wooden Shoes in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. The Wooden Shoes enter the match with a record of 2-0. Teutopolis won 50-37 in their recent non-league match against Richland County (Olney, IL)
The Indians now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sesser-Valier/Waltonville for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 22. DuQuoin will face a Red Devils team coming off a 50-36 non-league loss to Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-2.
