Texas High School Basketball - Grand Saline nips Troup
November 21, 2025: Grand Saline, TX 75140 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Grand Saline Indians basketball team scored a close 33-26 triumph over the Troup Tigers.
The Indians (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Rains (Emory, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Rains got by Grace Community (Tyler, TX), 64-31, in a non-league match.
The Tigers now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hawkins for a non-league match on Monday, November 24. Troup will face a Hawks squad coming off a 38-35 non-league win over Jefferson (Jefferson, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.
