Texas High School Basketball - Vandegrift can't hold off Tivy
November 21, 2025: Austin, TX 78730 Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), 62-55 in a non-league match.
The Antlers (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against O'Connor (Helotes, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, O'Connor nipped Lipan (Lipan, TX), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Vipers face the Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 match, on Tuesday, November 25. Vandegrift will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 11-1 record after their 52-39 non-league win over Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX).
