November 21, 2025: Manistee, MI 49660 The Gladwin Flying G's ice hockey team scored 7 points and held the host Manistee Mariners to 3 in the Flying G's league victory on Friday.
The Flying G's now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 22. Gladwin will encounter a Mounties team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Okemos (Okemos, MI). The Mounties record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Manistee falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Sparta (Sparta, MI) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, November 28. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-5. Sparta lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Alpena (Alpena, MI)
