Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Howell knocks off Houghton
November 21, 2025: Houghton, MI 49931 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Howell Highlanders ice hockey team scored a close 6-0 victory over the Houghton Gremlins.
The Highlanders (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Calumet (Calumet, MI). The Copper Kings go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Calumet held off Novi (Novi, MI), 5-1, in a non-league game.
The Gremlins now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Traverse City Central for a non-league game on Saturday, November 22. Houghton will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
