November 21, 2025: Riverview, FL 33579 The Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans walloped the visiting Cambridge Christian Lancers basketball team by a tally of 54-17 in Friday's non-league game.
The Spartans now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Jesuit for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 25. Winthrop College Prep Academy will confront a Tigers team coming off a 73-3 non-league win over Southeast (Bradenton, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Cambridge Christian falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL) to confront the Thunder in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 2. The Thunder go into the game with a record of 1-1. Out-of-Door Academy won 45-41 in their recent non-league game against Universal Academy (Tampa, FL)
