Texas High School Basketball - Burleson crushes Weatherford
November 22, 2021: Burleson, TX 76028 Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), 59-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Burleson upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Elks host Cleburne (Cleburne, TX) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 23. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Cleburne won 56-44 in their recent non-league bout against Sanger (Sanger, TX)
Next up, the Kangaroos clash with the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 30. Weatherford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 80-55 non-league win over Paschal (Fort Worth, TX).
