Texas High School Basketball - Pearsall crushes La Pryor
November 22, 2021: Pearsall, TX 78061 Pearsall Mavericks (Pearsall, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting La Pryor Bulldogs (La Pryor, TX), 87-18 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pearsall upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mavericks host Holy Cross (San Antonio, TX) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, November 26. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Holy Cross won 71-45 in their recent non-league bout against Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Nueces Canyon Panthers (Barksdale, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 23. La Pryor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 69-52 non-league loss to Center Point (Center Point, TX).
