Illinois High School Basketball - Olympia fells El Paso-Gridley
November 22, 2021: El Paso, IL 61738 Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL), 66-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Olympia upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans host Athens (Athens, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 23. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Athens won 47-30 in their recent league bout against Illini Central/Greenview (Mason City, IL)
Next up, the Titans play the Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 23. El Paso-Gridley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mallards go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 52-25 non-league win over Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL).
