Louisiana High School Basketball - Newman fells Pearl River
November 22, 2021: New Orleans, LA 70115 Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA), 55-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Newman upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Greenies host McGehee (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 23. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Rebels clash with the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 23. Pearl River will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
