The Alexander Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Austin Black Bears to 42 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grayson for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3.

The Black Bears (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grissom (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record.
