Countryside Cougars (Clearwater, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL), 56-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Countryside upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL) to play the Green Devils in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 30. The Green Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Gryphons play the Jesuit Tigers (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 26. Sickles will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 61-58 non-league win over IMG Academy White (Bradenton, FL).
