Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 67-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hough upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. North Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 56-43 non-league win over Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC).
