The Lawrence Central Bears overcame the host Mt. Vernon Marauders basketball squad by a count of 65-55 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

With the victory, Lawrence Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bears host Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Flashes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 29. The Flashes come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Marauders play the Covenant Christian Warriors (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 26. Mt. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
