Texas High School Basketball - Wylie East knocked off by Lufkin
November 22, 2022: Lufkin, TX 75901 The Lufkin Panthers basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Wylie East Raiders to 65 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rudder for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Lufkin will meet a Rangers team coming off a 54-29 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 3-0.
The Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Terrell (Terrell, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Terrell was defeated by North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX), 40-34, in a non-league contest.
