Texas High School Basketball - Monterey holds off Randall
November 22, 2022: Amarillo, TX 79118 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) and the host Randall Raiders (Amarillo, TX), saw Monterey's basketball squad hold off Randall by a tally of 79-78.
With the victory, Monterey improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host Frenship (Wolfforth, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Frenship won 73-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Cooper (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Randall will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Sandies come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
